1939-1947-8

I recently acquired this from a
junk yard in Adams, New York. The truck has sit
in that yard since the early 60's. I remember
when it went there with a blown engine.
There is not engine or transmission but the
front axle and springs and the rear end and
springs are all there along with the (now)
extensively ventilated fuel tank and battery box.

The body is in fairly decent shape for it's age.
Yes there are issues but I have fabricated everything
from street rods to antique parts to race cars so
these issues shouldn't be a big problem.
Plans for the truck are to get it into street rod form
with a 318/automatic package, redo the front axle and
possibly lower it with different springs or blocks.
The frame is very strong so I'll be utilizing it.

There is wood that is in excellent shape that was the
foundation for a flat bed, which I may or may not retain,
depending on what I finally decide the look will be.
So there you have it. Enjoy that another Dodge truck
has survived the crusher!
